Welcome to our new production,

As you know our studio focuses on making meaningful and activism films. Currently, we are in the Pre-Production stages of our new film Qiya. The script is registered with the Writer's Guild of America. We are thrilled to announce that Heather Henson (Jim Henson's Daughter) is helping us with studio space and limited financial donation, still its not enough to take the film into post production.

This is a dark fantasy short film about the horrors children are facing at the detention camps at the southern border of the United States. As you know, three children between the ages of 18 months and 8 years have died at these detention centers. Mariee Juarez, Felipe Alónzo-Gomez, Jakelin Caal did not receive the care they needed, and as a result they are no longer with us. I want to shed light on the reason these families flee their countries and their hardships.
Qiya (Means moon in Quechua) is an artistic interpretation of the horrors, and the trauma of separation the parents and children are experiencing at these detention centers at the border.

The story is based on published articles that interviewed parents during the Summer of 2018, until Spring of 2019. The storyboards, script, is done.

This piece will be live action film with animatronic realistic puppets and marionettes and the running time will be about 15 minutes long.

Puppeteers Frankie Cordero and Kervin Peralta are also part of this adventure.

These children and their families need a voice. As an activist, a mother and an artist, I will make sure their voice is heard worldwide. Our goal with Qiya the film,  is to reunite these families.
